Based on DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2022-067, all vice mayors are enjoined to participate in the provincial and regional VMLP elections for the term 2022-2025.
VM Mejia is said to be the first VMLP Pangasinan Chapter President from Mangaldan.

Kabaleyang Mangaldeรฑo, bilang Chairman ng Committee on Appropriations at Ways and Means ng 18th Sangguniang Bayan ng Mangaldan ay ipinasa na po ng inyong lingkod Councilor Aldrin Soriano ang resolusyon kaugnay ng Revised Annual Investment Program o AIP para sa 2023 sa ginanap na Regular Session ng Sangguniang Bayan noong Biyernes July 28, 2023.ย
Ito ay kaugnay ng mga dagdag na programa, proyekto, at aktibidad na popondohan mula sa mga hindi nagastos na Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund mula 2019 hanggang 2022 na nagkakahalaga ng Seven Million Seven hundred Sixty one thousand Seven Hundred Ninety three pesos at thirty nine centavos (P7,761,793.39).ย
Sa dokumentong isinumite sa Sangguniang Bayan, ilalan umano nasabing pondo para sa pagbili ng isang unit ng generator set na may 386 kilovolt ampere na may kasamang housing na nagkakahala ng Five Million Pesos (P5,000,000.00), isang unit ng recuse vehicle par sa disaster response, at isang unit ng ambulansya na nagkakahalaga ng Two Million Seven Hundred Sixty One thousand seven hundred ninety three pesos at thirty four centavos (P2,761,793.34).
Paliwanag ni Municipal Planning and Development Officer Milagros Padilla, layon ng pagkakaroon ng GenSet na magpatuloy ang trabaho at serbisyo sa munisipyo kung magkaroon man ng brownout o blackout. Ilalagay daw ito sa Municipal Plaza para maserbisyuhan ang munisipyo, ang plaza, at maging ang Sangguniang Bayan na nasa MYDC Building.ย

Jollimagic Foods Group, composed of four fast-food chains: Jollibee, Greenwich, Chowking, and Mang Inasal, extended a helping hand today, August 2 by donating relief goods to the Local Government Unit of Mangaldan to bolster the ongoing relief operations spearheaded by the local government in the flood-affected barangays due to the onslaught of Super Typhoon Egay.
The donations, consisting of 10 boxes of noodles and 6 boxes of sardines were personally delivered by Bambie Tamayo, Group Manager of Jollibee and were warmly received by Mayor Bona Fe De Vera-Parayno and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Rowena C. De Guzman.

The Provincial Government of Pangasinan under the leadership of Governor Amado I. Espino III conducted Veterinary Medical Mission at Poblacion, Mangaldan on May 20.
The program was led by the Provincial Veterinary Office headed by Dr. Jovito G. Tabarejos, Assistant Provincial Veterinarian, in which he urged the pet owners to be a responsible pet-parents.
The said program aims to prevent the spread of rabies and to encourage pet enthusiasts to be responsible in pet-parenting by giving free services such as deworming, vitamins administration, anti-rabies vaccination, castration of dogs and cats, spaying and consultation. The activity served 795 pets.
Aside from Mangaldan, Veterinary Medical Mission program visited and provided a free pet medical services to other municipalities of the province, namely: Labrador, Bautista, San Carlos City, and Calasiao.
Pet owners of Mangaldan expressed their thanks to the provincial government for bringing the program to their town that helps to prevent the spread of rabies and to remind them the importance of responsible pet-parenting.
The Veterinary Medical Mission will benefit all component cities and municipalites in the province to provide a free medical services for pets.
